How Many Tradeify Accounts Can You Have? 2026 Limits

Tradeify allows up to 5 simulated funded accounts at once, plus a 15-per-30-days Select evaluation cap. Here is how the limits work and how to run them safely.

You can hold up to 5 simulated funded accounts at the same time on Tradeify, in any mix of Growth, Select and Lightning, and that cap applies to you and your household together. Evaluation accounts work differently: there is no cap on how many you hold, but Select evaluations can only be bought 15 times in any 30-day window. This guide covers each limit, the one exception, what happens when an account fails, and the rules that matter once you run several accounts side by side.

TL;DR

  • Funded cap: a maximum of 5 active simulated funded accounts, across Growth, Select and Lightning combined, per person and per household.
  • Evaluations: no limit on how many you hold. Select evaluations are limited to 15 purchases per 30 days, and Growth evaluations have no purchase limit.
  • Exception: the V2 Select 300K is a limited release that can sit on top of the 5, for a total of up to 8 funded accounts.
  • Copying: Tradeify permits group trading across accounts you own, on up to 5 accounts, but you must activate it through Tradovate and you remain responsible for any violations.
  • Banking: you can pass more evaluations than you have slots and activate a banked one as soon as a funded account fails, expires or closes.

The short version of Tradeify's account limits

Tradeify draws a clear line between two stages of the journey, and the limits differ for each.

Account stageLimitNotes
Simulated funded (Growth, Select, Lightning combined)5 active at any timeApplies per person and per household
V2 Select 300K fundedHeld on top of the 5Total can reach 8
Select evaluations15 purchases per 30 daysNo cap on how many you hold
Growth evaluationsNo purchase limitNo cap on how many you hold
300K Select evaluation3 lifetime purchasesDoes not count toward the 15

The funded cap and the household rule come from Tradeify's help center article on simulated funded accounts. The purchase frequency limits are on the Select evaluation accounts page. Tradeify updates these pages, so check them before you buy a batch of accounts.

Funded accounts: the cap of 5

The number most traders care about is the funded cap. Tradeify's help center states that you can have a maximum of 5 simulated funded accounts at any time, in any combination of the Growth, Select and Lightning types. The Growth funded payout policy repeats the same ceiling.

Two details trip people up:

  1. The cap is per household, not only per person. If two people in the same home trade with Tradeify, their combined total of active funded accounts cannot exceed 5.
  2. Failed and expired accounts do not count. The cap measures active funded accounts, so a blown account frees its slot.

That second point matters for planning. The limit is a ceiling on exposure at one moment, not a lifetime allowance.

The 300K Select exception

The Select 300K is a limited release. According to Tradeify, V2 Select 300K funded accounts are held in addition to the standard 5, which allows a total of up to 8 simulated funded accounts. The size is also restricted to 3 lifetime purchases per user and is excluded from the 15-evaluation monthly limit. Tradeify's 300K Select page lists the price of the V2 evaluation and notes that once the available accounts sell out, the size is removed from the purchase page. Because it is a limited release, confirm availability directly with Tradeify before you plan around it.

Evaluation accounts: how many you can hold

Tradeify does not limit how many evaluation accounts you can hold. What it limits is how fast you can buy certain ones:

  • Select evaluations: up to 15 purchased within any 30-day period.
  • Growth evaluations: no purchase frequency limit.

The practical effect is that you can run a wide evaluation stage, but the funded stage is where the funnel narrows. If you pass six evaluations with five funded slots already full, the sixth simply waits.

Banking passed evaluations

Tradeify allows you to pass as many evaluations as you want and keep them for later. Once your five funded slots are filled, additional passed evaluations sit in your dashboard. When an active funded account fails, expires or is closed, you can activate a banked evaluation straight away.

For a trader with several accounts, this changes how you manage a drawdown. Instead of rebuilding from scratch after a loss, you keep a pipeline: a few funded accounts running, and one or two passed evaluations ready to replace whichever slot opens first.

What the cap means for your payouts

More funded accounts means more payout requests to track, and each one has its own eligibility. For a $50K Growth funded account, the payout policy says the balance must reach $53,000 before you can request a payout. Maximum amounts per request step up as you go: $1,500 on the first, $2,000 on the second, $2,500 on the third, and $3,000 on the fourth and later requests. Traders receive 90% of the requested amount.

Requests submitted outside normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET) are processed within 72 hours, and funds are issued within 24 hours after processing. Tradeify also notes that accounts purchased before September 12, 2025 follow a different payout tier schedule, so read the policy that matches your purchase date.

If you run five funded accounts from the same strategy, their balances tend to move together. That means payout windows often open at about the same time, which is convenient, but it also means one bad session can put all five at risk at once. Treat the cap of 5 as a risk ceiling, not a target.

Running several Tradeify accounts at once

Holding five accounts is easy. Trading them cleanly is the hard part, and Tradeify's rules are strict about it.

Group trading is allowed, with conditions

Tradeify's group trading and copy trading page says group trading is supported on up to 5 accounts. Three points stand out:

  • You must activate the feature on your account through Tradovate. It is not automatic.
  • You may only group trade between accounts you own and manage. Doing it with other people is prohibited and can lead to termination.
  • If you use a third-party copier, you do so at your own risk. Tradeify does not support problems caused by those tools, and you are responsible for any violations or losses they cause.

That last point deserves attention. A copier does not move responsibility. If it places a trade you did not intend, the violation sits with you. For a broader look at how this works across firms, see our guide to which futures prop firms allow copy trading, and our post on how Tradeify treats copy trading.

Good faith and monitoring

Tradeify's guidelines for traders put a good faith standard at the center. Copying your own accounts is permitted, but if the firm suspects bots, algorithms or copy tools are being used to exploit the platform, or that you are copying other traders instead of your own accounts, it can flag and terminate accounts. Keep any automated approach exclusively yours and never share it.

Hedging across accounts

This is the mistake that costs the most. Tradeify prohibits holding opposing positions, one long and one short, in the same instrument or in correlated product groups, even when the positions are in different accounts. A single hedging violation can move every involved account to violation status and forfeit related profits. With a copier, the risk appears when one follower drifts out of sync, for example after a missed fill, and you then trade a reversal on the leader. Check that all accounts are flat and aligned before you reverse direction.

Activity requirements

The same guidelines say you must place at least one trade per week (Monday through Friday) to keep an account active, and this is per account, not per user. With five accounts, a skipped follower can go inactive without you noticing. Review each account weekly.

Keeping account access secure

Five funded accounts represent real money, and an account takeover would hit all of them. Turn on two-factor authentication with physical security keys for your email, your Tradeify login and your Tradovate login. Whatever copier you use, check how it connects: authorization through Tradovate's official OAuth flow means a password is never handed to a third party.

Our perspective on the 5-account limit

We build TradeDupe for traders who hold several Tradovate prop accounts, so we see the same pattern repeatedly. Traders treat the account cap as the problem, when the real problem is consistency across accounts. A limit of 5 is workable. What breaks traders is a follower account that did not fill, a stray manual click on one account, or a reversal made while an account was still holding the old position.

That is why we built around safeguards rather than raw speed. Rogue-trade detection flags follower trades the copier did not place. Per-account copy toggles let you switch off one account without touching the rest. Daily loss limits and profit targets are set directly on Tradovate, so the broker enforces them rather than software on your computer. Mirroring typically happens in under 100ms.

Our advice: treat Tradeify's good faith language as the standard. Copy only your own accounts, keep one leader, keep your size rules simple, and confirm any rule you are unsure about with Tradeify support before you rely on it. Our tool does not change what the firm allows, and the responsibility for compliance stays with you.

A practical setup for 5 accounts

  1. Confirm your limits. Check the help center pages above for the current caps and your account types.
  2. Activate group trading on Tradovate for the accounts you will copy, as Tradeify requires.
  3. Choose one leader account. Put your discipline there and mirror outward.
  4. Test with minimum size. Place a small trade and confirm every follower fills as expected.
  5. Set daily loss limits on each account at the broker level.
  6. Review weekly. Confirm each account has traded, balances are aligned and no account is out of sync.
  7. Keep a banked evaluation ready so a failed slot can be refilled without delay.

Where TradeDupe fits

If you want to trade your Tradeify accounts from one leader, TradeDupe mirrors each fill on your Tradovate leader account to your enabled follower accounts. You connect through Tradovate's official OAuth, so your password is never stored and nothing runs on your PC or VPS. Plans are flat rather than per account: Standard is $30 per month, or $240 per year billed yearly, and includes 2 connections with 10 accounts each. Every plan comes with a 7-day free trial and one-click cancellation. You can see the details on the pricing section, or read our Tradeify copy trading page for setup specifics.

FAQ

Can I have more than 5 Tradeify accounts?

Yes, if you count evaluations. There is no limit on the number of evaluation accounts you hold. The cap of 5 applies to active simulated funded accounts, with the V2 Select 300K as the exception, which can bring the total to 8.

Does the limit apply to my household or only to me?

Both. Tradeify states the cap applies per person and per household, so everyone trading with Tradeify in the same home shares the 5 funded slots.

What happens when a funded account fails?

It stops counting toward your limit, which frees the slot. If you have a passed evaluation banked, you can activate it immediately to fill the opening.

Can I copy trades between my Tradeify accounts?

Tradeify supports group trading on up to 5 accounts you own and manage, once you activate it through Tradovate. Copying other traders is prohibited, and you are responsible for any violations from third-party tools. Confirm current rules with Tradeify before you start.
